It was November of 2001. I had just gotten married, and I was determined to create a ‘special’ album for a grandmother too ill to make it. Unsure how to start, I bit the bullet and I laid out the money to buy an actual magazine on scrapbooking. I remember thinking that they have a magazine for any and everything…

And from that inauspicious start began my love of scrapbooking.

Hello, my name is April Peterson and I am so pleased to be asked to join this design team. I am married to a wonderfully supportive husband Steve, and last February we became the proud parents of our son Xander.

One of the things that I like to do with my pages (my philosophy as it were) is to document and cherish and find the beauty in everyday things. I love that I can take 10 seconds out of my day to take a picture of something ordinary or common, place that picture on a piece of paper with some journaling, and somehow that same, ordinary thing is significant and appreciated. That whole concept is so powerful to me.

Just one of the many reasons I love this craft.
