strives for, lives for, wants all of their lives. A

place to belong, a place to always go to, a

family to call their very own.

That very quote was told to me by my own mom, years and years ago,

and, though, at the time I didnt quite understand it, as I was very angry

at either my brothers or the family as a whole, I now get it. Totally. I

dont think, at the age of 12, you get that as much as you do when you

have created your own family. Man, do I wish she could see me, no US,

now. Wouldnt she be proud, overwhelmed with love, to see this family,

so full of love, so full of fun, so full of HER, a complete extension of her,

and her love for her own family. This, I do believe, was the most

important lesson that she ever taught me. Ever. Period. And I hope that

I can only show my own children the same love, give them that same

lesson that my own mother instilled into me. I am hoping, and praying,

with guidance from her spirit, that I can do this for them. Show them

that family is, in the end, what saves you, what will always love you,

and what will always be there for you. Family is the end all, the do all,

the reason that most of us wake up in the morning, the reason that

most of us go to work, the reason that we want to go home. It all starts

and ends with what is most important in life...a
