Journaling reads:
Marriage was the cornerstone of your life. Though I think it was different then others, or how they viewed marriage, anyway. You never hid your emotions with dad. If you were angry, you showed it, if you were happy, you showed it, and you also let us kids see it as well. Which, to me, was a good thing. Not candy coating marriage, as many other parents have, showed me just what marriage is about. Not just the flowers, the nights out away from the kids, the cuddling, but the yelling, the money problems, etc. And working through them, in front of the kids, instead of hiding it behind closed doors. I know that it may seem weird to others, but that showed me just what to expect from marriage, the good and the
bad!
Journaling reads:
What you lived for, though, when all was said and done, were your grandkids. Now, when others read this, I know they are going to think, what, not her kids??? But her kids didnt need her as much, and when they did it was for big stuff. Life was easier for her with these two little boys. All they wanted from her was time and love, something that was readily available from her. She dropped everything for the two of them, everything, and they ate it up and gave it right back to her. The love that she shared with Alex and Brendan goes beyond the love she shared with us kids. And that, that will always be remembered by me.
Journaling Reads:
But what I think is the most important thing that I will always remember about my mom is to be your true self. Dont let others intimidate you, make you feel as though you have to change and mold to their specifications. You are you, and if they dont like it tough! Then she would go on to say how she would always love you, no matter what, and that if thats what it came down to, thats all that mattered. And she couldnt have been more right. Her love was more then enough for all of us, and that, THAT will be what I will remember most.
Molly, this is absolutely the coolest little mini album, Love everything about it! This is such a great memory album of your Mom, cherish it as I'm sure you will Forever and A L W A Y S!!!!

I'm not sure there are words to really express what a wonderful work of "feelings and love" you have created here ... it's personal and beautiful ... definitely something to be proud of ... an awesome tribute for sure. It sounds like your mom was an amazing woman.
