Poster: nfaband (see this users gallery) This card incorporates stamping (the owl and the sentiment inside and out). I also hand cut the tree limb and moon elements from my own design. The stars are confetti that I thought would be perfect for this type of holiday. I added a bit of inking to the tree limb to give it some depth. Ribbon just for a bit more color and interest. The basic idea for this card came from a site I was browsing on the internet a few days ago ... "Impress Rubber Stamps" and I loved it ... so I took the idea and made it my own with the ribbon, stars and hand cutting of the elements. They used a stamp for the owl ( not the same one I used ) and they used a punch for the moon and the tree. No stars or ribbon on theres. So ... though it's a bit of a lift ... mine is different. DD's mascot at her college is an OWL ... so I thought I'd make up a set of different cards using the owl image and send them up to her with stamps and envelopes so she would have cards to mail out to her friends. super cute - my kids school mascot is an owl too we will have to hook up w/ the owl stamps ! :D
