I have listened to Junior Watson from when I was lil. And so has my DD. He is most definetly one of the top five guitarists on the planet. Together with Bugs Henderson, BB King and Stevie Ray Vaughan he has been the reason for my DD to pick up the guitar at the age of four. I was amazed at how she tawked blues guitar with him after the (most brilliant) show with John Nemeth last night. He was so nice to her and I really think they both had a good time talking to each other.
Junior Watson is a US blues guitarist and singer. Within the blues scene, he is regarded as an influential "West coast"-style player.He was a founding member of the blues band The Mighty Flyers since the 1980s and he performed with the band for a decade. He also performed with Canned Heat throughout the 1990s. He has performed as a backup musician in performances and recordings for a number of blues performers, including Big Mama Thorton, George Smith, Jimmy Rogers, Shakey Jake, Luther Tucker,Charlie Musselwhite, Kim Wilson, and William Clark.
